Info on Member Services Database
The online Member Services Database launched in the fall of 2006, but many members and officers are not aware of its benefits. This introductory session was developed so it can be presented at summer and fall state meetings. Please contact Nancy to arrange for a "train the trainer" session, or contact the helpline or use the aauw.org problem report form if you have any specific questions.

Special note on the branch/state officer form
To be able to change the list of branch/state officers, you must already be "in the system" as the branch/state president. So if you're not, you need to submit a form in the "old" way to get yourself registered. Those forms are available at www.aauw.org/member_center/forms/.
What if your branch president doesn't have e-mail and so can't register for the system? Well, she probably wants to appoint someone as her "assistant" and give that person's e-mail address to the Association so she'll be kept up to date about all sorts of news from the Association. That person can then register for the MSD and go through the branch officer update process.
More for web managers
Branch and state web managers met on Saturday, June 30, for a special interest group discussion which will be continued on the web managers' listserve.
